The UK's Mark Cavendish made Tour de France history on Thursday as he claimed his third victory on the 12th stage. The 23-year-old, who rides for the Columbia team, became the first Briton to win three stages in a single edition. Australian Cadel Evans retained a slim one-second lead, and keeps the yellow jersey one more day.
