Burghardt wins stage 18 as Sastre holds on to yellow

The German Marcus Burghardt of the Columbia team won stage 18 from Bourg-d'Oisans to Saint Etienne on Thursday. He got away in a break at 60km and outsprinted the Spaniard Carlos Barredo. Carlos Sastre held on to the overall leader's yellow jersey and holds a 1' 24" lead over Franck Schleck with Bernhard Kohl 1' 33" back and the Australian Cadel Evans 1' 34" behind.
