Norwegian Thor Hushovt of Crédit Agricole won the second stage of the Tour de France on Sunday, a 164.5km stage from Auray to Saint Brieuc in Brittany. Spaniard Alejandro Valverde, of the Caisse d'Epargne team, retained the overall lead after winning the first stage yesterday.
