British rider Mark Cavendish, a native of the Isle of Man, won Wednesday's stage, a long-awaited victory for the Team Columbia sprinter. He declared his win "sensational" and, like France's Samuel Dumoulin on Monday's stage, declared that he had fulfilled a childhood dream. German Stefan Schumacher keeps the yellow jersey.
