Shu admitted handing over to Beijing information on design and development of a fueling system for space launch vehicles between 2003 and 2007.

He also admitted to a third charge of bribing Chinese officials to the tune of 189,300 dollars.

Shu is currently free on bail pending sentencing in April. He could face up to 25 years in prison and a heavy fine.

Foreign ministry spokesman, Qin Gang, said the report was produced for "ulterior motives that were doomed to failure."
