Since 1990, Norwegian Kristin Asbjornsen was deeply influenced by African American spiritual music. Norway and the United States might be oceans apart, but the 37-year-old feels she has found a musical link that she recorded in her debut album "Wayfaring Stranger".
Like the Norwegian, Stacy Epps has spent over a decade involved in group projects before embarking on a much-anticipated solo career.
The 29-year-old groove vocalist from southern USA taps into the spiritual nature that so inspired the country’s gospels, but takes it to a strangely cosmic level.
