Bullfighting organiser seriously injured in Carcassonne.

One of the organisers of Carcassonne’s Feria bullfighting festival is now in intensive care after he was horned by a young bull who had jumped into the safety corridor

Christian Baile was gored in the chest and stomach during the tournament, which consists of a series of fights involving young bulls.

A grey Spanish bull, from the notoriously aggressive Miura stock, jumped into the safety corridor between the arena and the stands.

The 55-year old is currently being treated in Carcassonne hospital’s intensive care unit, where his condition was regarded as worrying.
