What caused the supersonic jet Concorde to crash just after take-off in Paris on 25 July 25 2000, killing 113 people? An official investigation in 2004 concluded that a metal strip which fell off a Contintental Airlines DC10 which took off just before Concorde, was partly the cause of the disaster. But at a trial which began in Paris on Tuesday, lawyers for Continental argued otherwise.
