Rules of the competition
"Yes, I speak rugby"
ARTICLE 1 : THE ORGANIZERS
As part of activities organized around the « Rugby World Cup », RFI is organizing a Game-contest in three languages : French, English, Spanish entitled « Yes, I speak Rugby » as part of an operation launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote the French language among fans coming to France to watch the global tournament
This Game contest will run from August 26th till September 14th, 2007at midnight.
ARTICLE 2 : PARTICIPATION
Participation is free of charge and open to all adults with no direct or indirect affiliation with the organizer.
The contest will be launched through :
- The Internet www.rfi.fr
- By a press release
- Radio spots on RFI.
- Via a click on button on the home page of the website www.rfi.fr
ARTICLE 3 : HOW TO COMPETE
ON THE WEB www.rfi.fr
Contestants are expected to answer 12 multiple choice questions by the 14th of September 2007 at midnight local time in France. (Date and time of connection as evidence)
Contestants are requested to tick the boxes corresponding to the 12 answers proposed
Participation is individual and every contestant is expected to play only once. In order to receive the results each contestant is required to provide his or her full names and e-mail and postal addresses. Entries with erroneous or incomplete addresses will not be considered.
Contestants who find the right answers before September 14th 2007 at midnight French local time (date and time of connection as evidence), will take part in a raffle draw to determine the prize winners.
ARTICLE 4 : DRAWS
Draws will be held on October 19th 2007 to find the right responses and to determine the 300 lucky prize winners.
The full and unconditional acceptance of the above rules and regulations are a precondition to participation in this contest.
ARTICLE 5 : PRIZES
Winners will each receive a Rugby ball with an RFI logo .
There will be only one single gift per family (same name and address).
Gifts will not be substituted for money and received gifts will neither be returned nor replaced
Winners will either be informed by post (home addresses) or through the internet or E-mail.
RFI will not be responsible for damage or theft of prizes during delivery.
The quiz will be carried out in three languages, the governing rules will be available in Spanish and French as well. In the case of litigation only the French version will apply.
