Angola's foreign minister has accused French authorities of failing to take action against rebels linked to a gun attack on Togo's national football team last week.

Assuncao dos Anjos said more should be done to hunt down members of the Front for the Liberation of Enclave of Cabinda (FLEC) he says are living in France.

"We called the representative of the French government accredited here in Angola so we could present a note of protest from our country and our government referring to this attack carried out in Cabinda," he said.

Two splinter groups from FLEC took responsibility for the 8 January attack, which was carried out on the eve of the Africa Cup of Nations. Three people - the team's bus driver, press officer and assistant manager - died during the incident.

Two people were held following the attack, while the Togolese team withdrew from the competition.
