Hello everyone, and Happy 2010 from your new Club 9516/The Sound Kitchen host, Susan Owensby, and all of us here in the RFI English language service.

Here’s this week’s quiz question: On what date was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr born? Tell me the date and year of the great American civil rights activist’s – and Nobel Peace Prize winner’s – birth.

On the Club 9516 Sound Kitchen, we’ll be trying out some new recipes; but I need some help in the kitchen – and you’re just the one to do it. I want you to write me and tell me about people in your community who are doing good things.
